Project Updates:

Completed:  Restoration of damaged floors at
Rhodes Hall,
Atlanta , Ga.

Work has been completed on the den floor at Rhodes Hall that had sustained termite damage.  This was the second restoration of the den floor within the last dozen years.  It had been part of the first floor restoration that took place in 1992 and termite damage had been found and repaired during that restoration as well.  Passive Refinishing was relied upon to remove the existing coatings and allow for the refinishing of the den floors without substantial loss of wood.  Passive Refinishing has helped to preserve and protect the 100 year old floors and stop the needless loss of original materials due to traditional refinishing methods.  Rhodes Hall is the headquarters for the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and is open to the public for tours, weddings and other social events.
