Environmental Considerations - In this area, we have addressed the issues of dust control, vapors and fumes from the equipment and products being used. With regard to dust, The Rosebud Co. has invested in the state of the art in vacuum systems and training to manage dust containment. It is not 100% effective but it is effective enough to eliminate dust as a problem on the job site. And by using waterborne finishes extensively, the noxious vapors associated with high performance coatings are a moot point. We spent several years evaluating and testing waterborne products and now consider them the state of the art in terms of durability, wear and maintenance among finishes available for wood floors of all types.
